Broadcom Wireless in Ubuntu 7.10

2 / 04 / 2008 · No comment ·

I am the owner of an HP Compaq NX6110 notebook in which I installed Xubuntu. The installation was successful and without problems, the only problem, as I could imagine, it arose when Internet connection via wireless. nm-applet I found the wireless network without problems but I could still connect. the same using wicd instead of nm-applet. My problem I could solve it by following this very good guide in the Ubuntu Wiki. I wrote my notes for this both as to time or because I had a little 'problems and difficulties in finding the solution!
