Skebby is a program for mobile phones that allow you to send SMS from your mobile phone at very low prices.
The cost of an SMS sent by Skebby is about 0.01 € (1 cent).
Skebby lets you send messages from your phone that are offered free of charge every day from various sites, are currently used these services:
- Alice - ADSL (10 free SMS messages to all)
- Tim.it (5 free SMS messages to numbers TIM)
- Vodafone.it (10 free SMS messages to numbers Vodafone)
- Vodafone email (10 free SMS messages to numbers Vodafone)
- Vodafone MMS (MMS Infiniti free numbers to Vodafone)
- Tin.it - Virgilio.it (10 free SMS messages to all)
- Skebby Easy - Skebby Premium (paid services)
To be able to send text messages, you must have an account with at least one of the sites that have messages, or you can purchase an SMS package, for more information see our page on services.

The application and service are completely free, in order to send SMS to install the program on your phone and you have to make a registration free.

Some users have entered the site at the steps required for installing Skebby. If you are having problems you can find instructions in the section Installation help.
To install Skebby have two different possibilities, the first is free and requires the use of a computer, the second is a payment but you can simply just your mobile.
Free Mode (requires the use of a PC)
To install Skebby you download the program on your computer and then transfer it to your mobile phone through one of these ways:
- USB
- Infrared port (IRDA)
- Bluetooth
- WiFi
- Copy to memory card
The steps are few and simple:
- Download the file on your computer: skebby.zip
- Unzip the file you just downloaded, find files skebby.jar and skebby.jad
- Send the file to your phone skebby.jar, if your phone does not recognize it or I'll send the phone reports an error also the file skebby.jad
CAUTION
Some phones, such as: Samsung SGH-Z140, SGH-Z300, SGH-Z500, SGH-Z510 can be connected to a computer with a USB cable or Bluetooth, but not allow the installation of programs with this mode.
In these cases you can use the payment mode and the procedure for advanced users.
Payment mode (no PC required)
Unless you have a PC, or you can not connect your phone to your PC in any way in the above section Skebby you can download directly on your mobile.
To use this mode requires that your phone is properly configured to browse the internet.
By downloading the application from the Internet data traffic generation course that you pay your phone company, the costs are dependent on the operator used.

The messages made available from the sites are free, the cost of SMS messages sent with Skebby is due to traffic (GPRS / UMTS), which generates the program to send data to the server Skebby.
