Openday to PoliMi

Today I spent the whole morning until 15 at the Polytechnic of Milan since there was openday.

I state that my choice of university was divided between computer science and eng. computing. I started the tour and headed straight into the section of engineering and they are very impressed by the wide choice present. After having collected various junk I headed toward the classroom where there was the presentation of Computer Eng. I must say it is not that I was very impressed engineering, probably because a geek like me prefer to learn all the existing languages (magariXD) instead of devoting themselves to tests of physical, chemical and electrical engineering and have a more specialized preparation at the end of three years.

Beyond that, I was impressed to see some students with the fleece of ubuntu Others who used ubuntu (one even opensuse if I'm not mistaken) for the management of their robots. I was pleased to see even ing. automation using Labview (so after 3 years I autoconvinto that my prof is right and my doubts were dispelled labview is useless). I also like the air from the university, will be that expectations are always the best and you always optimistic.

In the end I must say that this day has confirmed in me the desire not to enroll in the polytechnic. Engineering is not what I wanted. Soon I will go into the state computer to see and I think that my choice will fall on the faculty.
