Ubuntu Tweak

We remain regarding optimization of ubuntu using graphical tools available to everyone.

Ubuntu Tweak is a simple and well-made program with which you can manage the system options and settings of the Gnome desktop (with KDE or other DE will not work), computers, graphics, system settings, security, etc. ..

The installation is very simple:

To stay up to date repositories do this:

sudo gedit / etc / apt / sources.list
add these lines at the bottom of the list
# ubuntu tweak
http://ppa.launchpad.net/tualatrix/ubuntu gutsy main deb
http://ppa.launchpad.net/tualatrix/ubuntu gutsy main deb-src
Finally, the commands:

sudo apt-get update
to upgrade packages
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak
to install the program.

The program once installed will position itself in Applications / System Tools.
