Again yesterday, after you reinstall Windows dualboot with Linux, I had to fix the grub. Since having done manually the owner of the pc has not understood a thing I went looking for a tool simple and usable even by him (since it provides for other Windows format ..)
Eventually I found SuperGrubDisk.

It 'a great tool usable or from floppy or CD, or USB, or better still for the friends of Windows directly from Windows. A little 'as a reminder for me I'm going to tell you about it. Once installed by Windows PC will reboot, restart you'll have two choices: Windows or UNetbootin. Choose the latter and expect that the process will end and every time you press Enter to go on but nothing catastrophic. At the end of the process the pc will reboot again and you will notice that the grub is reborn. Prior to joining linux have the foresight to return to windows (this time not choose UNetbootin), at least you will be prompted to uninstall the program. End ![]()
