Floola is a cross-platform alternative to iTunes to manage your iPod (and Motorola phones that support iTunes).

Let's see 'functions:

• Floola can be entered on the iPod to run it from any PC without itunes
• allows you to copy / extract / convert songs from your iPod
• manage playlists
• last.fm support
• allows you to create a html file with the titles of all songs on iPod
• supports photo / video / podcast
• is cross-platform (win, mac, lin)
• etc. ..

For Linux must be installed GStreamer or xine to run the player audio / video interior and libnotify-bin package to receive various notifications from the program. Once you download the tar.gz package you will find within an executable file with which to start the program! All very simple
